“FINSTER GOTHIC”
Hello art lovers and connoisseur’s everywhere in the universe!
When Larry Huber asked all the “Oh Yeah!” cartoon creators to come up with a piece of artwork for the “Oh Yeah!” cartoon artwork wall, the first thing that came to my mind was Grant Wood’s 1930 masterpiece, “American Gothic.” The next thing that came into my insane cartoon mind was “Finster Gothic.”
Well, here it is! Prismacolor pencils on black illustration board.
Enjoy!

*cleans his monocle* ah m’yes… A true master piece by jove, tut tut n’ all that rot… it’s a marvelous display of art nouveau, mixed with some classic impressionism and splashed in a grand finale of NeoFinsterism! too right!
