Yup…… it’s Big Daddy Finster with the high-performance Finster post card art!
Well I guess my love for doing hot rod art and drag racing brought me to this.
Yesterday when I was out at Pomona for the NHRA Winternationals, my son Michael and I were pretty close to the starting line when the top fuel dragsters and funny cars were doing their 4000 horsepower smokey burnouts. The white cloud of smoke billowing from the tires gave me the idea and image in my mind.

I’ve been drawing cartoons and hot rod cartoons since I was seven years old. I started learning from Ed Big Daddy Roth and Mad Magazine. Jack Davis was my favorite mad artist.
I also build hot rods and drag raced for years and will start racing again soon. My brother and I also built show cars. That’s my story. So I am a true motorhead!
