Hey Hot Rod Kats and Kittens!
I hope all is well with all your cartoons in the wild and fabulous world of animation!
Hey; you’ve seen all my continuous hot rod and drag art on the blog.
I thought I’d share photos of my 1961 front engine dragster I just aquired and will pick up next Saturday.
Built in 1961 here in California, this historic dragster has run many a NHRA national and local drag racing events since 1961.
The old flathead Ford motor in the pics is being pulled and I’m dropping a small block 327 Chevy motor in it, which I’ll build myself.
I used to run quarter mile drags at Raceway Park, Englishtown, N.J. in the late 70’s. Now it’s time to run again! This time; a dragster.
When I’m done, it’ll run around 10 seconds at 125 to 130 miles per hour in the quarter mile.
I believe the bottom photo is a picture of the car when it ran in 1963.
Thanks for letting me share my motorhead cartoon madness with you all!
That’s where my hot rod and cartoon power comes from!
Talk on the blog soon!

It needs some things Jeff: power windows, cruise control, a stereo, or just a windshield! We can’t wait to cheer on the track!
