The Finster/Finster Show

Hey all you cartoon Kats and Kittens!!!!
I hope all is well with you and all your giant animated Hollywood motion pictures.
Everything I’ve been seeing on the Random Cartoons blog looks spectacular!
But anyway; I wanted to let you all know The Finster Finster Show! “STORE WARS” has been wonderfully scored by Mr. Michael Tavera.
Mike did the scoring for me on DreamWorks Toonsylvania series for FOX back in 1999.
My direction was to maintain a classic cartoon feel incorporated with a John Williams feel for battle sequences.
Mike managed to deliver that and more. His brilliant music instincts supports and adds even more comedy to the cartoon. This is without s/fx yet.
I advise all of you to ,know what you want when it’s time to meet with your composers.
They; like all other artists on your show; needs as much direction as possible. Give reference to music you like and where you want it. Talk about the mood of the sequences and what you want to feel.
As you add onto your film; you want entertainment value to increase; not go down. With direction; I guarantee you’ll be happy.
Mike; you did an outstanding job, as always and I thank you. It’s wonderful working with you again and look forward to more.
