I had no idea that the film was co-directed by the late Joe Ranft. I've been looking forward to this film ever since I saw the artwork for it in the Pixar gallery. I remember hearing a lot of negative responses to the teaser trailer. But when you get down to it, these guys are serious about their work. Careful how you judge Pixar.
