I dont like the simpsons. There should be a family guy movie that goes in theaters instead.

Ah ha! We’ve found the one person who doesn’t like the SIMPSONS. Let’s form a lynch mob! I’ll get the board with the nail in it!

Soon they will have bigger boards with bigger nails, until they create a board with a nail so big, they will destroy themselves!

I love that you got my reference Anne. The Simpsons still occassionally have a great episode now and then. I still have hope.

Yay! Another Simpsons nerd! I also hold onto hope–also cause I have friends who work on it :P–but I think for the most part the series has run its course.

Uhh..yea.. that wasnt me who posted that.. gulp.. well, gotta go purchase that one way ticket to uhh… antarctica…

I just hope it doesn’t come off as feeling two episodes strung together and also hope that it does well so the media doesn’t once again decide that animation is dead if even the Simpsons can’t make a good feature film.

I think the outcome of the SIMPSONS movie may vary. It’ll probably make a lot of money, because….it’s THE SIMPSONS.
But as an on and off fan of the show, there is reason to be concerned, because in recent years, myself and many others have been watching the show go downhill in its writing and ratings. I stopped watching some years ago when this became apparant. But I have a feeling there may not be enough energy left in the show now, even though I don’t have a totally valid opinion on that matter.

So far, Matt Groening and the six original actors (Yes, the real [faceless] voice actors), so we should count that as a plus.
